Sarika Sanjai, commenced her journey as a disciple under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Srimohana Balasubramaniam at the tender age of four. Since 2014, Sarika has actively showcased her talents in various cultural events organized by esteemed institutions such as the Colorado Fine Arts Association, Sri Venkateswara Temple of Colorado, Hindu Temple of Rockies, Tamil Association Of Colorado, Colorado Telugu Association, Indian Dance Festival, Oriya Association, and Nadanalaya Dance Academy, Denver's annual recitals.
In addition to her performances, Sarika has been actively involved in charitable endeavors through her participation in Swayam.
Currently, Sarika is showcasing her proficiency in Bharatanatyam dance through examinations conducted by Griffin College London, where she recently attained distinction at the 5th-grade level.
A Traveller
Traveling isn't just an activity she engages in; it's woven into the fabric of her being. She possesses an undeniable passion for exploration. While she may not have traversed every corner of the globe or set foot on every continent, she has embarked on her fair share of journeys, and it's merely the inception.
There's nothing quite as exhilarating as traveling, where new experiences and memories are forged, destined to endure a lifetime. The essence of travel lies in its multifaceted offerings: the people encountered, the culinary delights savored, the exposure to diverse cultures, the breathtaking vistas, the immersive experiences, and the invaluable lessons learned along the way.

Throughout her journey, she has not only excelled academically but has also demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and a strong commitment to community service. Here are some but not all of her noteworthy accomplishments:
Consistent Academic Excellence: With a passion for health subjects, she consistently showcased her ingenuity through research on pediatric bone disease and healthcare accessibility. She also authored an educational children’s book and patient guide to support families navigating rare pediatric conditions
Leadership and Competitive Excellence: She serves as Vice President for her local HOSA chapter and earned recognition as an FBLA State Champion, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Global Leadership and Community Impact: Through an international leadership initiative with Bauchi City, Nigeria, she works to address healthcare disparities and improve menstrual health awareness in underserved communities where she won the Global Fundraising Award. She also attended an advanced medical and public health Internship through this program at Georgetown University.
Top Academic Performer: Her dedication to academic excellence propelled her to the top ranks of her class with a GPA of 4.57, earning her the distinction of being recognized as a top academic achiever.
Bharathanatyam Performances: Beyond academics, she showcased her cultural prowess through captivating Bharathanatyam performances at various esteemed platforms such as the Tamil Association, Kerala Association, Oriya Association, Sri Venkateswara Temple, and Hindu Temple, captivating audiences with her grace and talent.
Community Service and Volunteerism: Dedicated to giving back to her community, she has organized and conducted two blood drives annually for the past five years while volunteering with organizations including Project Cure, local food banks, and Night Lights respite care. She also served as a Make-A-Wish Youth Champion, advocating for critically ill children and supporting fundraising initiatives across Colorado.
